
The Bradshaw Library needs Teen Volunteers to help with their summer program! A great way to have some fun and add to your resume!
"TEEN VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: We are putting together a team of teen volunteers to help us throughout the summer with our summer reading program activities. Volunteers need to be in enrolled in 7-12 grade. This includes public, private, or homeschool programs. Applications are available at the library circulation desk. All applications need to be turned in by Friday, May 10th. If you need more information please email kids@chamberscountylibrary.org"


SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE and that means it is time for the Chambers County Library Summer Programs. Pre-registration is now underway for the Sylvia Word McCollough Reading Challenge which begins on May 24. This year’s theme is “Adventure Begins at Your Library ” Signing up is quick and easy. Visit chamberscountylibrary.org and click on the Summer Programs tab to get complete information about the many programs offered in June and July at Bradshaw Library and the LaFayette Library.

Summer Feeding Seamless Summer Option
Dates: June 5-28
Location: W.O. Lance Elementary
All meals are at no cost for students who attend the summer program. Breakfast is from 8:00-8:30 & Lunch is from 12:15-12:45 pm. Meals must be eaten on site.

Our final device collection date for all students in grades K-12 will be Tuesday, May 21st from 11:30-4:30. The location will be outside of the LJH/LHS Front Office. Please see the flyer for more information.

LJH will host a three (3) day STEM camp, Monday June 3- Wednesday 5, 2024 for rising Seventh (7th) and Eighth (8th) Grade students. During this time, students will explore and engage in various STEM components and activities. Students will also engage in off campus learning opportunities (Field Trips). Field trips may extend beyond camp hours, an itinerary will be provided, please plan transportation arrangements accordingly. Attendance is highly encouraged! However, please note space is limited.
