About Mrs. Ledbetter:
My name is Tammy Ledbetter. I am a graduate of Lanett High School, class of ’88. I am also a graduate of LaGrange College, the University of Phoenix, and the University of West Alabama. My field of education is Early Childhood. I am a highly qualified teacher, certified to teach all subjects in grades pre-k through 3. I began my teaching career in Troup County, Georgia, where I taught elementary school for over a decade. My experience in Troup County spans teaching all grades from kindergarten to fourth. I have been with Lanett City Schools since 2017. I currently teach kindergarten and love it! Educating young hearts and minds is my passion. I love to see a child reach his/her true potential. I believe that teaching is an honor and a privilege. My husband and I have three grown sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 2 granddaughters (Shadow and Madelyn) and 1 grandson (Greyson). I live in West Point and am active in my church. I am an avid college football fan, especially of the Auburn Tigers. I love to spend time with my family, read, and travel.
