My name is Candy Crance and I have had the opportunity to serve as Library Media Specialist at W.O. Lance Elementary School for the past three years. I currently reside in Auburn, Alabama with my husband Greg and our three daughters.  I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling and serving at Church of the Highlands.

Philosophy

I believe that the school library is a learning hub that fosters collaboration, learning and a love of literacy.  This position is a good fit for me because of my passion for teaching, technology and the love of reading.  I strive each day to empower students to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.
