I graduated with my bachelors degree from Auburn University in Early Childhood Education in 2012. In 2015, I finished my master's degree from Jacksonville State University in Early Childhood Education. I recently finished my specialist degree in the Teacher Leadership program from Jacksonville State University.

I have taught PreK in two different church preschools for five summers while pursuing my teaching degree. I completed my internship in the 2nd grade at Huguley Elementary School in Chambers County. I came to Lanett from Opelika City Schools where I taught kindergarten, for 3 years, and second grade. I am looking forward to another great year with Lanett City Schools in the 2nd grade!

I was born in Mobile, Alabama. When I was 5 years old, my family moved to Montgomery, Alabama for my father's job. My brother, Coleman, and I went to a private school in Montgomery until I was 10 years old. In the middle of my 4th grade year, my family moved to Auburn, Alabama. When I was 13 years old, my mom had my sister, Erin. My parents still live in Auburn today. In 2010, I married my husband, Jeremy. Jeremy and I met in Auburn through a mutual friend. We live in LaGrange, Georgia. We have two dogs and three children.  Jeremy and I spend our weekends at the lake, beach, traveling, working on our yard and house, and hanging out with our friends.
